This is a very rare interpretation of the Wittnauer 242T often seen with a matte black dial, this version is known as the exotic “panda” dial.

The watch features a striking red chronograph seconds hand and has exotic red segments on the minutes totalizer. The case remains in good condition with some scratches & dings. The all original white dial features an outer black tachymeter scale was made alongside the mythical Rolex ‘Paul Newman’ Daytona & Omega ‘Racing’ Speedmaster and was most probably used for racing purposes.

The Valjoux 72 movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
